Hardly anything left of the car park with the high tide. Wind shadow at the edge but much stronger once I got out a bit. Very gusty. Generally a bit overpowered but OK until the end when it went mental. I stopped as by then the sandbanks were appearing. I then had a look at the seafront but it was very gusty - 17 to 47 mph - and the waves weren't very good so I didn't bother.
